-Paris,France-
As suprising as it is, even Europe isn't away from slums. In 2007, in "bois de Vicennes" and "bois de Boulogne" right next to Paris, capital of France, there were 200 people living in slums. They build their houses in forests because they don't want to be caught by the police and they try to be as far from each other as they can so they won't be seen. But, since 2011, a slum is getting bigger and now mesures more than 100 meters. People living in those come from differents countries like Tunisia, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and many others. So, they don't speak the same language and they don't have the same beliefs.
France
Paris is the capital of France. It is kind of a rich country, even if it's economy is not going very well right now. People mainly know that Europe country for it's castles, palaces and mountains and the famous Tour Eiffel.
Immigration
Roms children
People living in Paris slums are immigrants, they come from different countries like Tunisia, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and many others. So, they don't speak the same languages and they don't have the same beliefs. But even though they come from everywhere, there is a majority of Roms.
Slums development
In many countries, like Bulgaria, there are difficult living conditions and people and really poor, so some one them go to Paris to get a job and have a better life. But, sadly, they don't always have the money to pay a rent, so they build their own houses with everything they can find. People keep joining the families who already live there, so the slums get a little bit better everyday. Those shelters are illegals but the government accept them.
Children's education
Some really generous people try to give an opportunity to slums children to get a good education. As an exemple, in France, 3 adults come with their truck in a slum and teach to roms kids in it because around 300 of them aren't provided with formal education. The teachers firstly try to teach them french so, maybe, someday, they'll have the chance to go to a normal school and have an appropriate education.

Most of the France slums were destroyed in the 70's, but they have grown back in the 90's. Since then, the government keep rasing them to build whatever they want. As an exemple, in February 2007, Bobigny slum was demolished, right after Cassis slum in 2005.
